From reviving a little sportster lost for half a century, to giving an iconic ’80s hot hatch a modern twist and even saving a rust-ravaged star of the silver screen. With Fuzz’s mechanical know-how and Tim’s madcap demonstrations, the boys will do whatever it takes to get owners back behind the wheel – even if it means the odd modification to make that possible. In a first for the duo, they will be restoring a legendary British motorbike and heading over to Northern Ireland on a rescue mission to restore a heroic lifesaving 4x4. Expect laughter, tension and emotional reunions, plus some surprise celebrity friends along the way. Tim and Fuzz take on an iconic 1980s Mk1 Golf GTi, owned by Saj from Birmingham. Known locally as the “VW oracle,” Saj has a crystal-clear vision of how his beloved Golf should look — meaning this won’t be your average restoration. The boys’ mission is to create the ultimate show-winning car. But there’s an extra challenge: Saj lives with muscular dystrophy, which means he can no longer drive. Determined to change that, Tim sets out to find a way to give Saj back some control behind the wheel. Meanwhile, Fuzz faces the daunting task of rescuing the owners self-modified engine and tackling a body riddled with rust and rot. With so much at stake and the clock ticking, can the lads finish in time for the big reveal at one of the UK’s biggest car meet locations in front of a crowd of Saj’s peers? MN 7 (United Kingdom)
