(Ice Road Rescue: Season 11: Cold Snap) Dobrodružství An epic season puts the ice road rescuers to the test, forcing them to break new ground in the battle to keep Norways roads open. From the southern mountains to the northern wilderness, winter becomes increasingly unpredictable. Snowstorms are followed by sudden shifts in temperature, bringing landslides, rockfalls and life-threatening winds. For rescue bosses Thord, Bjoern and Jo Roger, these are challenging times as they confront unprecedented natural disasters and ever-increasing demand. But they are not facing these challenges alone. The crews have welcomed a new breed of young rescuers. Collaboration with neighbouring companies has expanded their ability to succeed in the biggest missions - and their willingness to embrace new ideas and new technologies has proved more important than ever. In Overhalla, theres double-trouble. Jo Roger goes to an all-night rescue of a fifty-one tonner carrying steel bars, but his team risks defeat when their towing gear shatters in extreme cold - and Raido fights time when called to remove a truck that blocks a busy route to a ferry terminal. In the southern mountains, Bjørn and his wife Anette are called out to recover a stranded car after two tourists stray onto a cross-country ski track. And Thord gets angry when a truck driver ignores his advice and wants the rescue done on the cheap. MN 12 (Norway)
