Car SOS returns with ten extraordinary rescues, as Tim and Fuzz breathe new life into forgotten classics and uncover the moving stories behind them. From reviving a little sportster lost for half a century, to giving an iconic ’80s hot hatch a modern twist and even saving a rust-ravaged star of the silver screen. With Fuzz’s mechanical know-how and Tim’s madcap demonstrations, the boys will do whatever it takes to get owners back behind the wheel – even if it means the odd modification to make that possible. In a first for the duo, they will be restoring a legendary British motorbike and heading over to Northern Ireland on a rescue mission to restore a heroic lifesaving 4x4. Expect laughter, tension and emotional reunions, plus some surprise celebrity friends along the way. Tim and Fuzz takes on a 2001 Mercedes SLK with huge sentimental value for Lili, 35, from Barnsley, who inherited the car after losing both her parents. Sadly, the little roadster her mum had cherished since new has been locked away, plagued by mechanical problems, suspension issues, a tired interior, and a folding roof that won’t close. While Fuzz battles the workshop gremlins to get it running and roadworthy, Tim heads to Germany for expert advice and takes a grinder to a scrap car to illustrate the evolution of convertibles. Racing against the clock, the team restores Lili’s beloved family heirloom in time for an emotional West End reveal. (United Kingdom)
