(Yukon Rescue: Season 1: Ransacked) Dobrodružný As calls for help roll in, brave and resourceful first responders must overcome a slew of threats — from avalanches and wildfires to flash floods and ferocious predators. In historic Dawson City, the volunteer-run fire department is the only line of defense for the tight-knit community. Along the Klondike Highway, a helicopter crew armed with explosives races to keep up with avalanches endangering critical access to ports in Alaska, while First Nations Land Guardians keep a watchful eye on the vital balance between species and the environment in their communities. Battling vast distances, scarce supplies, extreme temperatures and an unforgiving landscape, Yukon Rescue’s first responders put it all on the line to get the job done. While hunting for evidence in a possible case of poaching, conservation officer Logan encounters a potentially life-threatening situation with two aggressive bears feeding on the remains of a moose. In Whitehorse, wildfire season is fast approaching, and the Yukon First Nations Wildfire is prepping for its busiest year ever. Then, a young group of recruits is pushed to their physical limits chasing their firefighting dreams when an out-of-control wildfire closes in on Whitehorse. Meanwhile, on a lonely stretch of highway far from town, Ray and Doug struggle to help when a driver falls asleep at the wheel and ends up hopelessly tangled in the trees. MN 16 (Canada)
