(Monsters: Truth Behind the Myths: Season 1: Werewolves) Dokumentární From vampires and werewolves to demons and Frankenstein, Monsters: The Truth Behind the Myths unpacks the origin story of our most legendary monsters —and tracks their staying power across the centuries. Its a historical journey to the mindsets that made them and how folklore and superstition has intersected with science and popular culture right up until today. The history of werewolves takes us back to ancient beliefs regardin man and wolf but its in the 16th century that a killing spree sees werewolves enter the courtoom. At the French court, the werewolf is reborn as a cautionary fary tale. The longstanding vilification of wolves and animal behaviour shapes the legend and mass media sends the myth into overdrive.
