(Ice Road Rescue: Season 11: Jackknife Jeopardy) Dobrodružný An epic season puts the ice road rescuers to the test, forcing them to break new ground in the battle to keep Norways roads open. From the southern mountains to the northern wilderness, winter becomes increasingly unpredictable. Snowstorms are followed by sudden shifts in temperature, bringing landslides, rockfalls and life-threatening winds. For rescue bosses Thord, Bjoern and Jo Roger, these are challenging times as they confront unprecedented natural disasters and ever-increasing demand. But they are not facing these challenges alone. The crews have welcomed a new breed of young rescuers. Collaboration with neighbouring companies has expanded their ability to succeed in the biggest missions - and their willingness to embrace new ideas and new technologies has proved more important than ever. In Overhalla, Raidos already in double trouble when he goes to rescue two trucks that block the main road that links northern Norway to the south. An already difficult mission takes a turn for the worse when a third truck, approaching the accident site, slides to a halt then jackknifes across the carriageway. In the southern mountains, in gale-force winds, Bjoerns under pressure trying to rescue a truck and trailer that was blown into the ditch. Hes working solo on what should be a full team job - but to his surprise, unexpected help comes his way. In a ski resort, Thord is challenged by a tractor thats balanced precariously above a steep slope. It threatens to crash down into the luxury cabin below, so Thord brings in a full team, knowing that one slip during the tow-out could be disastrous. (Norway)
