(Ice Road Rescue: Season 11: Cliffhanger) Dobrodružný An epic season puts the ice road rescuers to the test, forcing them to break new ground in the battle to keep Norways roads open. From the southern mountains to the northern wilderness, winter becomes increasingly unpredictable. Snowstorms are followed by sudden shifts in temperature, bringing landslides, rockfalls and life-threatening winds. For rescue bosses Thord, Bjoern and Jo Roger, these are challenging times as they confront unprecedented natural disasters and ever-increasing demand. But they are not facing these challenges alone. The crews have welcomed a new breed of young rescuers. Collaboration with neighbouring companies has expanded their ability to succeed in the biggest missions - and their willingness to embrace new ideas and new technologies has proved more important than ever. After a pick-up careers over a steep cliff, Thord and Eiriks rescue starts badly when they cant even find it - then gets worse when they cant get a tow-truck close. On the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, Bjoern loses his temper because a truck driver keeps ignoring his warnings and risks damaging the rescue truck. One thousand kilometres north, in Overhalla, Jo Roger restores his favourite, forty year old tow truck - but its Estonian rescuer Raido who becomes the first to take it out on a mission, when a truck and trailer crashes and then jackknifes on the main road south.
