A once in a lifetime storm and record breaking rain and snow throw up massive challenges. Tackling the toughest jobs of their careers, Thord and Bjoern face new dangers and rely on each other like never before. In the north, Jo Roger needs last years rookie, Stig, to step up and become a rescue leader - but is he up to the job? In the south of Norway, Thord, Bjoern & their army of men are forced out into one of the countrys worst storms in 10 years. They must rescue a truck loaded with steel girders, which has been blown off the road by gale-force winds. On the job, Bjoern gives Svein Arne a lesson in the law of gravity.
