Amid an extensive renovation, experts preserve historic structures, while the security team handles unruly revelers. The lost-and-found team reunites grateful passengers with items they left behind, while the construction team monitors the demolition of the old railway bridge to make way for a new one, and traffic control is tested on one of the busiest days of the year … the Dutch Grand Prix. Managing over 1,500 trains and 180,000 passengers a day is no easy task, especially during a major renovation. The various teams at Amsterdam Central work diligently to balance daily operations with ongoing renovations designed to propel them into the future. The construction team, led by Superintendent Leon, demolishes a dilapidated railway bridge in the center of the city to make way for a new gigantic steel structure. The pressure is on Leon to maintain safety and limit disruption to travelers during the complex operation. The construction also creates new challenges for the ticket and service staff, who are charged with maintaining quality service and clear guidance for passengers in a hurry.
