(Lost Ships of WW2: Season 1: Uss Johnston: Americas Deepest Loss) History Rob Kraft and his team aboard the research vessel Petrel are in search of the most iconic ships of WW2. Using some of the worlds most high-tech camera equipment, their spectacular discoveries can now be seen for the first time in almost 80 years. When research vessel Petrel picks up what they believe to be the debris trail of the USS Johnston, they are about 8,000 feet deeper than the Titanic wreck.
