Testimony from key witnesses and survivors, enhanced by reconstructions, archive and photo-real computer graphics take the viewer into the confusion and panic that precede catastrophes. Looking at gruesome disasters such as the recent Norway Massacre, the Jonestown Cult Suicide, and Nagasaki bombing among others, experts pick apart the twists and turns of the investigations, analyze evidence and reveal the vital clues to the disastrous chain of events. Friday 17th December 1978, deep in the Guyanese jungle, US congressman Leo Ryan and a team of journalists have just arrived at Jonestown - a religious community run by the enigmatic Reverend Jim Jones.
