(Life Below Zero: Port Protection Alaska: Season 2: Tiny Terrors) Akční On a remote Alaskan Island, 65 people have left normal society behind to choose an off-the-grid, isolated lifestyle. The stakes are high, the land is rugged, and the weather is unforgiving. With no roads or government, Port Protection needs the community to survive. The community takes advantage of unseasonably warm winter weather to complete necessary builds and essential chores. By building a greenhouse, Hans and Timbi take another giant step toward realizing their dream of owning and operating a fully functioning subsistence farm. After overcoming a multitude of obstacles, and almost losing their valuable smoker, the team harnesses their strength to finish the build and is one-step closer to bringing fresh produce to the village. Meanwhile, Sam challenges himself by building experimental octopus pots, a first for him. He sets out to sea to catch octopus, but the treacherous waters surrounding Port Protection may prove too much for even a seasoned mariner like Sam. Across the island, Gary Muehlberger reaches the inland waterways of Prince of Wales to catch river trout, but mistiming the tides has put his trip in doubt. Finally, a pesky vermin has bee been tunneling holes under Marys home and eating her salmon, venison, and cat food. Curly, drawing on years of trapping experience, builds a live-trap to help rid her property of mink. MN 12 (United States)
