From increasingly powerful hurricanes to ferocious wildfires to tornadoes destroying unexpected places to rapid melt and rising water levels to destructive weather patterns and shocking rogue phenomena, climate change is still accelerating at an alarming rate, faster than anyone had predicted. The not-so-distant future could hold a terrifying reality—mutant weather. As the atmosphere warms, tornados are appearing in places not accustomed to the deadly phenomenon, including more densely populated areas. Tornadoes are no longer contained in Tornado Alley. They are also becoming more deadly as tornado clusters grow.
