(Toronto Airport Uncovered: Season 1: Spring Break Rush) Osobnosti For the first time, cameras go behind the scenes at Toronto Pearson International, Canada’s biggest and busiest airport. They reveal how the airport keeps millions of passengers and thousands of planes moving, even when facing record-breaking snowstorms and extreme winter weather. Technical issues, emergencies, security breaches and passenger demands pile even more pressure on the flight schedule. Spring break brings a surge in passenger numbers and added pressures on airport staff and infrastructure: heavy bags rip a section of the baggage conveyor belt which needs fixing before the afternoon rush. A low-cost-holiday jet with millions of miles on the clock needs a new engine. Staff must race passengers from a delayed flight to their jet headed for the Caribbean, and an elite restaurant along with staff on the apron feel the heat as passenger numbers soar.
