Testimony from key witnesses and survivors, enhanced by reconstructions, archive and photo-real computer graphics take the viewer into the confusion and panic that precede catastrophes. Looking at gruesome disasters such as the recent Norway Massacre, the Jonestown Cult Suicide, and Nagasaki bombing among others, experts pick apart the twists and turns of the investigations, analyze evidence and reveal the vital clues to the disastrous chain of events. Over two days in spring of 1996, 9 climbers died on the descent from Mount Everest.
