Positioned on Botany Bay, the gateway to the Pacific Ocean, up to 180,000 people enter the airport precinct every day. Volatile weather patterns, security breaches, technical issues, and the human element place pressure on keeping the 900 flights safely on schedule. The busy Christmas Season brings extra challenges with families escaping Sydney on vacation. But the airport is thrown into jeopardy of a shutdown with the discovery of an unidentified white powder on board an incoming flight.
